I offer in-network, out-of-network, and self-pay options depending on your insurance and preferences.
In-Network Insurance
Through Gaining Ground, I am currently in-network with:
Aetna
Cigna
Evernorth
UnitedHealthcare
Optum
Oscar
Oxford
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Anthem
If I am in-network with your specific plan, I can bill your insurance directly. Your responsibility for each session may include a copay, coinsurance, or deductible, depending on the benefits of your individual plan.
Insurance benefits and coverage vary by plan. I recommend contacting your insurance provider before beginning therapy to confirm your mental health benefits, including your deductible, copay or coinsurance, coverage for outpatient therapy, and any applicable limitations.
Out-of-Network Insurance
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still have out-of-network mental health benefits that can reimburse you for a portion of your therapy expenses.
In this case, you would pay for your session directly and I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan, and I cannot guarantee whether your insurance company will reimburse you or how much it will reimburse.
Before beginning therapy, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Self-Pay
Individual Therapy — $150 / 45 minutes
Couples Therapy — $200 / 45 minutes
Questions About Billing
If you are unsure which option is right for you, I’m happy to discuss the available options and help you understand the billing process. However, because insurance benefits are determined by your individual insurance plan, you are ultimately responsible for confirming your coverage and understanding your financial responsibility.
Please feel free to reach out with any billing or insurance questions before scheduling your first session!
Cancelation Policy: To change or cancel your appointment without incurring a fee, please provide a 24-hour notice before your appointment. The fee is $100. Please note that most insurance companies will not reimburse missed appointment fees.
